If you have a change of address, we would like for you to let us know. You can call our office at 1-877-783-8765. It would help us if you had your account number or meter number when you phone so we can send a final bill. If you are relocating to another residence utilizing Norris Electric services, we would like this same information as well. You can also email us this information by clicking "more information". You will be redirected to our Change of Address form.

We allow 15 days from the billing date for you to pay your bill. If the bill is not paid within that 15 days a delinquent notice is mailed and you have another 7 days to pay your bill. If payment is not made within that 7 days a disconnect notice is sent and allows another 8 days for us to receive payment. If payment is not received within that period your electricity will be disconnected. During this time you are still using electricity that is being added to your bill. There is also a 5% late fee added to an account not paid within the 15 day payment period. These charges can really affect your bill so it is best to pay in a timely manner.

Deposits may be collected for one of several reasons. The cooperative may build a costly line to serve a new member. The estimated revenue may justify the expenditures, but a new business venture may not succeed. In this case the cooperative may charge a deposit. A member may have less than ideal credit history so a deposit could be charged. Our large power members usually have a large enough electric bill that a deposit is collected just in case they cannot pay their bill for some reason. Residential members pay a deposit depending upon their credit rating. If a member has good credit a deposit will not be required. If a members credit is fair a deposit of $200 will be collected or if the credit is poor a $400 deposit will be collected. This deposit will be refunded when a member moves from our lines and bills are paid in full or after 2 years of non delinquent payment history.
